It is also possible to use a private car to reach the airport from the city center, which is situated on these two land connected by a thin piece of land. First of all, you have to get to Fatih Caddesi via Sakarya Caddesi which connects the nose and the peninsula. Fatih Caddesi will also take you directly to the Bostancılı Village which will connect to the airport. There is also a car park for 100 cars where you can park your car at the airport.
Sinop Airport, which is only open for domestic flights, welcomes about 65,000 passengers per year. Despite this fact, the airport is not very well developed. There is one café and one restaurant at the airport. Within the terminal are offices of airline companies and check-in counters.
