The journey from Chania city centre to the airport takes around 30 minutes, but this can be reduced to 20 minutes depending on your choice of transport. Chania Airport has a post office and vehicles to help disabled passengers around the airport alongside standard airport features such as waiting areas, help desks, and luggage check-in. Since public transportation is less preferred in the city center, visitors prefer taking a taxi to reach the city center from the airport.
