Transportation to Airport from Rome City Center

Ciampino Intl. - G. B. Pastine Airport

The Ciampino Airport, located 12 km away, is accessible from central Rome by bus, train, taxi, rental car and personal car. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the Ciampino Airport from the city. You can utilize a variety of transportation methods to get to the airport.

Taxi

The fastest and most convenient way to get to the airport from the city center is a taxi. We recommend checking the traffic before you leave and timing it accordingly. Taking a taxi to the airport is a more cost-effective transportation method because it is the fastest option.

Bus

You can also get to Ciampino Airport from the city center by bus. Compared to taxis buses are a more economical alternative. After a comfortable journey you will find yourself at the airport. The pricing is fixed between the city center and the airport, which is 48 EUR. You can find operating taxis 24/7 and the ride takes around 30-40 minutes, depending on the traffic. Transportation to Dublin City Center from Airport

Once you rent a car, all you need to do is to take the Swords Road to reach the city center. Then you should drive through the Coolock road and take the "City Center – Dublin Port" turning and head to Parnell Square. This road will lead you directly to O'Connell.
