Train

There is a rail system in place that provides transportation from the city center directly to Munich Airport. Trains depart every 10 minutes and provide transportation to terminals 1 and 2. The S1 train line connects Neufahrn, Moosach, Laim, Munich Hauptbahnhof, Marienplatz and Ostbahnhof with the airport and the S8 train line connects Ostbahnhof, Isartor, Marienplatz, Karlsplatz/Stachus, Hauptbahnhof, Laim and Pasing and Herrsching with the airport.
