One of the largest in Peru and South America and Coronel FAP Alfredo Medivil Duarte Airport which is also known as Yanamilla Airport is just 2 kilometers from the city center of Ayacucho. If you do not have any obstacles such as luggage which is difficult to carry, you can walk to the city center in 15 minutes or you can also easily reach the city center by taxi, bus, rental car and hotel transfers.

Taxi

In a accordance to the landing times of planes, taxis are located at the terminal exit at Yanamilla Airport to travel to the city center and it almost takes as long to travel to the city as it does getting in and out of the taxi. Although the journey is short, your payment is equivalent to 1.5-2 USD. You can pay by the currency in Peru or you can pay with currency like Euro, USD.
