The distance between Mactan - Cebu International Airport and the city center is not too short. If you have rented a car your transportation would be very easy. You can also go for a taxi, but you should not forget that it will increase the cost. Bus transportation is the cheapest alternative in terms of public transport but there is no direct bus to the airport from the city center.

You have to take the 13C bus from the city center and get off at the Talamban stop. Here you have to transfer to 21A line and go to Mandeu stop. The bus number 23 that you can take from Mandeu stop will take you to the airport.
Mactan - Cebu International Airport, the second busiest airport in the Philippines, is located on the Lapu-Lapu Island of Cebu. It is 15 kilometers from the city center.
