Transportation to Airport from Caticlan City Center

Godofredo P. Ramos Airport

Passengers who want to travel to Malay Airport from Caticlan city center or from other nearby cities and regions can use taxis, boats or private shuttles. Although the boats are not used to get to the airport directly, they may be preferred to travel from many of the islands and the center to beaches near the airport.

Taxi

Taxis are the most practical and fastest means to get to the airport from Caticlan city center. Moreover, taxi fares are very affordable as many other vehicles. If the distance between where you are to arrive at Malay Airport and the airport is long, you can negotiate a fixed fare by negotiating with the driver, or you can share the taxi with other passengers going to the airport.

Boat

After reaching the nearest pier by boat from the islands and beaches near the airport, you can travel to the airport by taxi or private vehicles from here and you can be at the airport terminal in a shorter time. Boat fares are not high, as other vehicles, but they can be a more expensive vehicle for those coming from distant locations.

Private Shuttles

Private shuttles are preferred by those who want to come directly from Caticlan and other areas close to the airport. The prices of the shuttles that take passengers to the airport with ease can vary depending on factors such as the time, duration, distance and the number of passengers travelling.

Airport Information

Malay Airport, which serves the city of Caticlan and other areas in its vicinity, is a small-sized airport, from where regional charter flights are operated usually. The airport, where there are consultation desks and waiting rooms, is used by passengers who want to travel to different destinations in the region.

Transportation to Perth City Center from Airport

Perth Airport

It is easy to reach the city center of Perth, the largest city in Western Australia, from the airport thanks to the wide network of newly built roads and highways. You can hit the road in a short time by renting your car from the various car rental companies at the airport, or by taking one of the taxis waiting for you at the arrivals terminal.  If you prefer public transport vehicles you can also reach the city center by bus.

Rent a car

Transport to the city center from the airport can be carried out by car rental, which in Perth is one of the most commonly preferred options. The car rental option provides easy access to many of the places worth seeing. Some rental companies at Perth International Airport to meet the passenger's needs include Hertz Redspot, Europcar, Thrifty, Avis and Budget. If you prefer to book your ride while out of town, you can reach Avista at 13 63 33, Hertz  at 13 30 39 or  Budget at 13 27 27 - while inside Australia, of course.

Taxi

Taxis are available 24/7 at Perth airport but may be pricey. However, there is at least a fixed fee that is determined when going to the city center from the airport. A one way ride from the airport to Perth city center costs around 43 AUS dollars, if you arrange a roundtrip to and from the airport it is 86 AUS dollars. If you are going in the direction of Fremantle, it is $ 67 one-way and $133 roundtrip. For Scarborough it is $70 and $140 round trip. To reach Jondalup one way it is $97,and Cocburn $67. Obviously this is not the cheapest option for long distances.

Shuttle Services

At Perth Airport shuttle service is provided to passengers by Connect Shuttle. Shuttle service centers provide direct transportation to the train station in East Perth, Kings Perth Hotel, Wellington Street, Western Australian Museum and other options. Some hotels,  such as The Ambassador Hotel also offer their own hotel shuttle services, which take off from the T3 Terminal. You don't need to pre-book to use this option and the price is around $15.

Bus

For those who prefer public transport, there are also many buses carrying passengers from the airport to the central bus station in the city center. Bus lines 380 and 40 in particular navigate around the city and can be accessed at an affordable price. Bus line 380 terminates at the Elizabeth Quay Bus Terminal, stopping at Burswood Train Station, the Belmont Forum, and other Perth landmarks, such as the Mall. Bus line 40 carries passengers across Perth by using the Great Eastern Highway.

Hotel Services

You're on the way to the city center from the airport with a range of useful hotel shuttle services. Not every hotel offers one, but if your hotel does you are in look as this is an affordable and useful option. Just make sure to call your hotel in advance to see if such a service is provided and at which times it takes off from the airport.
