Transportation to Airport from Cancun City Center

Cancun Intl. Airport

You can rent a car or take a taxi to get to the airport from Cancun. Those who are looking for a more economical means of transportation can take the bus seven if it is a little bit more tiresome.

Taxi

If you want to have a comfortable and safe journey in Cancun, you can take a taxi. This delightful airport journey takes only 20 minutes.

Bus

If you want to go to the airport by bus, you need to go to the terminal in the city center, which is the first departure point of the buses. The ADO buses providing airport transportation service from 04:30 am to 11 pm departs every 45 minutes maximum.

Rent a car

You can rent a car online from Budget, Enterprise, Alamo, Avis and Hertz, which make procedures even easier with online car rental service, and you can deliver the rental car here once you arrive at the airport.  

Airport Information

Cancun Airport, Mexico’s second busiest airport, covers a very large area. The airport has three separate two-storey terminals; Terminal 1 is used for private flights, Terminal 2 is used for regional flights, and Terminal 3 is used for international flights. The terminals provide opportunities for basic needs such as pharmacy, lost property office and health center as well as lifts between the floors and access to ATMs.

Wireless internet is available free of charge at all terminals. It is possible to come across a wide variety of shopping stores at the airport. You can shop at Aldeasa Perfumery in cosmetics section and Convenience Store in books and magazines section, especially at Aldeasa Duty Free store. Los Cinco Soles is at your service if you want to buy local souvenirs. Hotdog All Dressed, Aldeasa Les Boutiques, Cloe and Harley Davidson are also at your service in the clothing section at the airport.

In the foods and drinks area, you can find the brands of various world cuisines as well as you can enjoy eating in the fast-food area. The restaurants include TGI Fridays, Bubba Gump Shrimp, Mera Restaurant and Berry Hill’s Baja Grill, while the fast-food restaurants include Fast food – California Pizza Kitchen, Haggen Dazs, Guacamole Grill and Grab & Go.

Transportation to Monterrey City Center from Airport

Monterrey Intl. - General Mariano Escobedo Intl. Airport

The distance between the city enter and Monterrey Airport, which is also known as General Mariano Escobedo Airport, is 25 kilometers. Travelling to the city center from Monterrey Airport lasts about 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

You can also travel to the city center from General Mariano Escobedo Airport by using the SkyBus vehicles or renting a car. In addition to rental cars and buses, passengers can also use the taxis for travelling to Monterrey city center from the airport.

Bus

You can directly reach the city center from Monterrey Airport by using the buses in the large part of the day. The buses, which are commonly used by both domestic and foreign visitors thanks to their affordable prices, operate from the early hours of the morning until the late hours of the night. The buses pick passengers up from the airport and carry them to the Valle Oriente station in the city center. If you prefer using a bus, we advise you to make a reservation in advance.

Hotel Shuttle

Some of the hotels in the city center offer airport shuttle service for their guests. They directly carry them to Monterrey Airport. Some hotels offer this service for free. This is one of the most economic transportation alternatives that you can use for travelling to the city center from the airport. If the hotel you are staying at doesn’t offer this service, you can take a look at other private shuttle alternatives offering service in the region and arrange a shuttle to pick you up from the airport.

Car Rental

It is very easy to rent a car at General Mariano Escobedo Airport. You can rent a car from one of the companies located in Terminal A of the airport. AVIS, Greenmotion, Europcar, Sitxt, Payless, Thrifty, Alamo and Dollar are among these companies. Passengers who want to rent a car can save time by making a reservation in advance before coming to the city. Since the distance between the city center and airport is not too long, you can find your way easily by following the signs.

Airport Shuttle

You can travel between A and C terminals of Monterrey Airport by using the shuttles. The shuttles offer service all day long and passengers who want to reach the other terminal can use these shuttles.
