To get to Tribhuvan International Airport from the city center, you have to enter the Ring Road and follow the airport signs. Airport Information

Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport from where Kathmandu’s, as well as whole Nepal's international flights are made. The airport which is located in the Kathmandu Valley, between mountains, serves with an airstrip that is hard to land, often causing the planes to circulate around the valley again before landing.

The airport, which has been operating since 1949, is about 6 kilometers from the city center of Kathmandu. The airport has all the basic services such as post office, first aid center, foreign exchange office, and cash dispenser.
