The Suvarnabhumi International Airport opened for international travel in 2006. The city’s first airport, Don Mueang International Airport, is a regional commuter flight hub and low-cost airline hub.

There are vehicles that depart from Victory Monument, which is one of the busiest transportation hubs in the city, to the airport every 20 minutes. You can get to the airport using luxury minibuses or buses where you need to connect or transfer in between. Minibuses 550 and 551 will take you directly to the airport. The city of Bangkok experiences extremely hot temperatures and these vehicles were designed taking that fact into consideration. Transportation to Kathmandu City Center from Airport

Tribhuvan Intl. Airport

Tribhuvan International Airport is 6 kilometers from the center of Kathmandu city. Shuttle services are available at the airport. It is also possible to go to the city center by taxi.
