Airport Information

Taoyuan International Airport is located 60 km from the city center. It is the largest airport in Taiwan and one of the busiest airports in the world in terms of international passengers.

There is a rail system that transports passengers between terminals 1 and 2. The TTIA Skytrain is a free inter-terminal service. The train runs ever 2-4 minutes from 6 am to 10 pm; from 10 pm to midnight the train runs every 4-8 minutes. To use the train between midnight and 6 am you need to call it by pressing the call button at the station.

Terminals 3 and 4 are scheduled to be completed soon and an underground transit system connecting those terminals is being created. To date the airport has received several awards for its quality of service, safety, and employees. Taoyuan International Airport offers passengers a variety of services and amenities, from stores where you can go shopping to eating and drinking venues.
