About Barbuda

Barbuda, which is one of the twin islands in the Eastern Caribbean, is an island where about 1,600 people live according to the data of 2011. The majority of the population lives in Codrington region of the island. Barbuda, which is located in the north of Antigua Island, is situated in the middle of the Leeward Islands. There are only two accommodation centers on the island because of the occasional hurricanes. On the island, where the tropical marine climate is effective, small seasonal changes are experienced. January and February are the coldest months and the average temperature is 28 degrees. From June to August, the temperature is about 30 degrees.
