About Altınoluk
The Turkish resort town of Altınoluk lies on the shores of the Mediterranean. Home to nearly 20,000 inhabitants, the town welcomes a high number of tourists in summer months.
Its location and climate are the major reasons why Edremit has become a tourism resort. It is a town where the Mediterranean climate predominates, and summer months are milder because of the effect of the sea. Summers are generally warm, and winters rainy.
It has hosted many civilizations thanks to its location and natural beauty. In addition to its excellent beaches, the Ethnographic Museum in Tahtakuşlar and the ancient city of Antandrus can be visited to learn more about the history of the region and the civilizations that lived there. Canyons, waterfalls, magnificent coves and beaches that nature will offer you here promise endless gems. The Şahinderesi Canyon, Sutüven Waterfall, Hasan Boğuldu Waterfall and the Mıhlı Creek are some of the natural attractions the area offers.
The town can be reached by air through the Edremit Koca Seyit Airport, but access by road or sea is also possible.
