Although it is not as busy as Tivat Airport, Podgorica Airport is larger and more modern. In June, July and August, when touristic activities are high, both of the airports are very busy and for the remaining period of time of the year, there are very low air traffic.

You can go to Tivat city center from Podgorica International Airport with a taxi for approximately 70 Euro. As the distance between the airport and city center is very close, transportation takes short time. At the airport, there is no public transportation system, which can take you to the city center.

Taxi is the most preferred way of transportation. People who want to see different places may prefer renting a car. Additionally, some hotels offer airport shuttle services.

As Tivat city center is very close to the airport and there is no public transportation service between them, taxi is the most commonly preferred way of transportation. It costs approximately 15 Euro to go to the city center from the airport by a taxi.
