You can travel to Tambov city center from Tambov Donskoye Airport by getting on a taxi within 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions. If you prefer renting a car, you must drive in the southwest direction on the highway A-143. Nine of the hotels in the city offer paid airport shuttle services on condition that a reservation is made in advance.  There are no means of public transportation that visitors can use for the transportation from the airport to the city center.
