You can reach the airport in about half an hour by taking a taxi.  

Matatu

In addition to the buses, matatu option is also available for those who prefer public transportation. You can reach the airport by these minibuses that are quite cheap, but you should keep in mind that you might have difficulty if you have lots of luggage because matatu minibuses are very crowded and the drivers usually drive fast and carelessly.

You can get in contact with your hotel in advance and learn whether they offer this service. It is advised to make a reservation in advance. Don’t forget that some hotels may demand an additional amount for this service. There is no means of public transportation at the airport.
