Allama Iqbal Intl Airport

You can easily travel to Allama Iqbal International Airport from Lahore city center by getting on a taxi or renting a car. If you prefer using a means of public transportation, you can get on a bus going to the airport. Whichever alternative you prefer, you should not forget that traffic in Lahore can be very heavy. Today, regular flights are organized from the airport to many important cities such as İstanbul, Dubai, Paris, New York and Tokyo. Allama Iqbal International Airport, which is the second busiest airport of Pakistan, is located 15 kilometers of the city center.

The airport includes two terminals as domestic and international. The international terminal has a lounge, duty free shops and various eating and drinking areas. In addition, passengers can benefit from the Wi-Fi network at the airport for free. At the airport, you can buy souvenirs consisting of local Pakistani desserts.

KLIA is located about 45 km from the city center and offers passengers a variety of transportation methods to get to the city. Each one of these methods of transportation offer their own advantages. From KLIA you can get to the city center by taxi, bus, train, or rental car.

One of the fastest ways to get to the city center from KLIA is by taxi. Taxis are located at the airport terminal building and licensed and operated by the Airport Limo Company. Bus

You can use the Express Rail Link (ERL) trains to get to the city center from KLIA. The train is accessible from the airport terminal buildings and provides both an affordable and comfortable method of transportation to the city. There are two lines that run from the airport to the city, the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit.

Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport was the main international airport of Kuala Lumpur, until Kuala Lumpur International Airport was opened. Today Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport serves general aviation and turboprop flights. The airport is used for charter flights and domestic and international turboprop flights. Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport is located about 30 km from the Kuala Lumpur city center.
