Transportation to Airport from Chiang Mai City Center

The Airport Express train gets to the city center in about 24 minutes. Passengers who take the Airport Express can transfer to hotel shuttles, which many prominent hotels provide, at the Kowloon Station and Hong Kong Station.

Ferry

There is a ferry service that provides transportation to various districts around the city from the airport. The ferry is accessible before immigration in the arrivals hall. Passengers using the ferry are considered transit passengers. You can purchase ferry tickets in Terminal 1.  

Bus

The Cityflyer buses are a service of Citybus and one of the most convenient transportation alternatives to get to the city. The Cityflyer buses depart from the airport and get to the city center in about 40 minutes.
