Transportation to Airport from Algiers City Center

Houari Boumediene Airport

It is possible to reach Houari Boumediene International Airport from the city center by taking the advantage of bus or metro line. If you prefer a more relaxing and fast journey, you can take a taxi or rent a car.

Taxi

You can easily find a taxi at every corner of the city center. For safety reasons, it is better to take a taxi from taxi stands or you can also ask your hotel to arrange a taxi for you. Publicly known as Algiers International Airport, Houari Boumediene International Airport is located 20 kilometers southeast of Algeria. The airport serves its passengers with two terminal buildings, one for domestic flights and one for international flights.

There a lounge available for passengers who don't want to sacrifice their comfort while waiting for their flight. If you need to do shopping, you can visit the duty-free store and souvenir shops.
