The distance between the Aleppo Airport and the city center is short. However, since the airport is currently closed for commercial flights, you can use the closest airports to Aleppo, which are Hatay Airport and Gaziantep Airport. Although there is no need to make a reservation before hand, if you are a large group you do need to let them know in advance by telephone or email. Taking a taxi to the city center from the airport takes about 20 minutes. Taxis are located at the airport exit.
