The Seaside Park is a beach surrounded by natural and good-looking buildings. Many successful Lithuanian musicians were born in Liepaja, known as the capital of music. Although the city, which is the center of culture, education and industry, is small, it is one of the largest cities and has rich history and many different architectural remains. There are 2 main highways in the city. These are the 220-km long A9 highway going to the west and the 100 km-long A11 highway going to the north. It is possible to travel in the city by bus. Trains regularly depart from Liepaja railway station every day. There are no flights to Liepaja Airport but Palanga Airport and Riga International Airport in Latvia offer service.
