Transportation to Airport from Rome City Center

Ciampino Intl. - G. B. Pastine Airport

The Ciampino Airport, located 12 km away, is accessible from central Rome by bus, train, taxi, rental car and personal car. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the Ciampino Airport from the city. You can utilize a variety of transportation methods to get to the airport.

Taxi

The fastest and most convenient way to get to the airport from the city center is a taxi. We recommend checking the traffic before you leave and timing it accordingly. Taking a taxi to the airport is a more cost-effective transportation method because it is the fastest option.

Bus

The pricing is fixed between the city center and the airport, which is 48 EUR. You can find operating taxis 24/7 and the ride takes around 30-40 minutes, depending on the traffic. Rental Car You can find numerous options for rental car companies in the Rome city center. From international brands like Avis, Budget, Hertz, Europcar, and Sixt, to local companies, there are endless options. While the prices may differ according to several factors such as duration, car type, and more, you can find as low as 15-25 EUR per day.
