Transportation to Airport from Frankfurt City Center

Frankfurt Airport

Frankfurt Airport is located 12 km southwest of the city center. The airport offers guests a rich variety of services and amenities and transportation alternatives to get to and from the city center. Frankfurt Airport is accessible by train, bus, taxi and rental car.

Train

Frankfurt has an excellent public transportation system, making it quick and easy to get around the city. A convenient method of transportation to get to Frankfurt Airport from the city center is by commuter trains. The S-Bahn commuter rail line operates directly to the airport, stopping at the Frankfurt Airport Station in Terminal 1. S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 provide transportation to the airport from Frankfurt Central Station. The total trip takes about 10 minutes and trains run every 15 minutes during peak hours.

Taxi

Another convenient transportation alternative to get to the airport from the city center is by taxi. Taxis are easily accessible in every part of the city but taxi fares are more expensive than other transportation options. Only certain taxi companies are licensed to go to the airport. Transportation to Samsun City Center from Airport

Çarşamba Airport

Samsun is the most developed and largest city of the Black Sea Region in Turkey. It is also a very dynamic city with a population of nearly 1.3 million people. Samsun is a developed city in terms of industry, agriculture and maritime transport. Urban transportation is provided by bus, minibus and taxi. It is possible to go to Amasya and Sivas from Samsun by train.

The city also has ferryboat transportation. Samsun Çarşamba Airport is 19 kilometers to the city center. Airport transportation is provided by taxi, passenger shuttle services, Havaş shuttle services and rental car.

Havaş

Havaş has shuttle services to Samsun city center, Bafra and Ordu. Shuttle services depart 20 or 30 minutes after the plane lands. Transportation to the city center takes about half an hour.

Taxi

If the Havaş shuttle route is not suitable for you, you can prefer taxi option. There is a 24-hour taxi service at the airport.

Rent a car

At Samsun Airport, there are the offices of many car rental companies like Avis, Budget, Sixt, Hertz and Fox. Renting a car is a good option especially if you are going to travel in and around the city.
