Ferry

There is a ferry service that provides transportation to various districts around the city from the airport. The ferry is accessible before immigration in the arrivals hall. Passengers using the ferry are considered transit passengers. You can purchase ferry tickets in Terminal 1.  

Bus

The Cityflyer buses are a service of Citybus and one of the most convenient transportation alternatives to get to the city. The Cityflyer buses depart from the airport and get to the city center in about 40 minutes. Taxi

Taxis are another method of transportation that you can use to get to the city center from the airport. However, there is one important thing to take note of. If you are going to the Hong Kong city center or Kowloon then you have to get on a red taxi. Taxis in other colors go to different locations. Also don’t forget to take the traffic into account.  

Rental Cars

Another way to get to the city is by renting a car from one of the rental car offices located in the airport. However, keep in mind that traffic can be very heavy.
