Zadar, a peninsula surrounded by Adriatic Sea, is an ancient Mediterranean port city in the western part of Croatia. It used to be the capital of Dalmatia. Zadar Airport is 9 kilometers from the city center and 10 kilometers from the main bus stop in the city. To get to the city center from the airport, you can use the airport shuttle, taxi or car rental companies. Buses departing from the International Terminal go to city center or to Zadar's main bus stop in 20 to 25 minutes. It might take a little shorter with taxi.
