The most preferred means of transportation in the city center is motorcycle taxis. If you have a small luggage and you are traveling alone, you can take a motorcycle. Normal taxis are another alternative. However, in both cases, remember to negotiate with the driver about the fare beforehand. If you have rented a car during your stay in the city, you can go to the airport on an average of 30 - 40 minutes using the Airport Road or the A2 motorway. Some hotels in Kano also offer extra charged airport shuttle service for their guests.
Aminu Kano International Airport is located approximately 13 kilometers northwest of the city center of Kano. The airport established in 1936 is the oldest airport in the country. Aminu Kano International Airport hosts military as well as civil flights. Duty free shops at the airport, serves passengers with a small café and a VIP lounge, are closed for a while.
Found in Hakkari’s largest city Yuksekova, Yuksekova Salahaddin Eyyubi Airport and the city center is about a 92 kilometer distance. Passengers may get from the airport to the city center by riding a taxi or minibuses.
At Yuksekova Selahaddin Eyyubi Airport, Taxis waiting all day for passengers, are both a comfortable and unproblematic option to choose. Especially since minibus ours are limited and the trip lasts long is why a majority of passengers prefer to travel by taxis.
Minibuses only have trips from the airport for passengers twice a day. Determining their work hours according to flight arrivals, there aren’t net hours. With minibuses leaving from the arrival passengers terminal front, you may get to the Hakkari city center in about an hour and a half. You can pay cash to the minibuses.
